Michael Snyder, MD, is a board-certified neurologist and the director of Premier Neurology & Wellness.  He is a graduate of the University of Iowa School of Medicine where he graduated in the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society in 2002.  He completed Neurology residency and fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine and Barnes-Jewish Hospital in 2007.  He has a particular interest in Headache Medicine and has extensive experience with injection-based procedures including nerve blocks, trigger point injections, and botulinum toxin injections.

Additionally, he has training and experience in utilizing functional medicine-based approaches to help improve overall wellness for his patients, including bioidentical hormone replacement, medical weight loss, and IV vitamin and micronutrient therapy.  These treatment modalities have the potential to not only improve general well-being but to help improve some of the medical conditions that he treats, including chronic migraine. When not helping his patients, he enjoys spending time with his family and is passionate about exercise and nutrition, which he believes are important tools to promote well-being and improve a wide variety of health problems.
